| White Crappie |

White Crappie are very compressed with a deep body. The back and sides have 5 to 10 black vertical bands. Their dorsal fin, and tail contain a combination of dark spots and bands. The dorsal fin has 5 to 6 spines. Crappie are best caught on live minnows, small jigs, and spinners. The best place for them in the spring is in shallow areas and in the winter in deeper water. |

| Rock Bass |

Rock Bass are thick, heavy bodied fish with a dark slate or olive green color and also a bronze and coppery iridecence. The mouth is large and extends beyond the front edge of the eye. The eyes are somtimes various shades of red. Rock bass will bite on a number of natutural and artificial lures. Small spinners and crankbait work well as do almost all worms. |

| Channel Catfish |

Channel catfish have a slender body with a deeply forked tail. The upper jaw is longer than the lower jaw and there are barbels around the mouth. The dorsal and pectoral spines are sharp and deeply serrated. The body is bluish silver on the sides and generally has dark spots. Natural bait including worms, crayfish, and chicken liver are on of the main baits to use on the channel cat. |
